A clean run is easier when each action has one purpose: collect a small matching group, carry it to the right display, place it, then reassess the nearest area.

On a first visit, choose a compact section instead of running across the entire shop. That gives you a low-risk place to practice pickup, placement, dropping, switching, and squishing without turning the floor into a harder puzzle.

Build a route that stays readable

Visible size is a useful starting point, not a rule you must force. Community walkthrough coverage recommends clearing recognizable Animals first, then Dumplings, Food, and Mochi, because completing a clear shelf makes the rest of the store easier to read. Keep only one or two categories active at a time so your held items and destination stay obvious.

If a trip keeps breaking down, do not buy blindly. Identify the repeated bottleneck first: too many return trips, too much walking, or a hard-to-reach pickup. Then use the upgrade screen or Magic only when it addresses that specific delay.

Play solo or split work with friends

The official page says you can clean alone or with friends, and the experience supports up to 20 players. In a group, assign nearby zones or categories rather than having everyone grab from the same pile. The goal is less overlap, clearer shelves, and a route each player can repeat.

Progress can be treated as a steady cleanup project: the current official description says squishies save even when they are left on the floor. That removes pressure to finish every task in one session, but the in-game prompts should always take priority if a later update changes that behavior.
